A good idea can come from anyone, anywhere. Or can it? Philanthropy, charity, and aid are part of an entrenched system that relies on a web of funders, implementers, government partners, and often many, many layers of front line workers aiming to improve health and development. But does the system strengthen local institutions in the countries it seeks to support? Does it allow for the sourcing of ideas to be democratized as well, bubbling up from anywhere in the world? More than half of ideas across Johnson & Johnson are sourced from outside of our walls. Join this interactive workshop to explore how we can move towards a global philanthropic mindset that welcomes great ideas from anyone, anywhere in the world, and does so in a way that strengthens local institutions and leadership.
