Seth Cochran

Biography

Seth loves data and he’s focused his career on using it to help people and the planet.

He is the founder of Operation Fistula, a data-driven NGO working to dismantle systemic gender inequality leveraging by helping the world’s most vulnerable women. He is also the founder of Impact Intel, a social enterprise using data analytics to help organizations scale impact. Seth has also helped found other high impact organizations like miraclefeet and elderabuse.org.

This year at Skoll, he is keen to listen, learn, and collaborate on the following topics:
- Mentoring emerging women leaders and data analysts into executive leadership
- Connecting accounting data to program outcomes to reveal cost-effectiveness
- Using data to dramatically improve program and operational performance
- Carbon sequestration through composting and regenerative agriculture
