Biography
Paul Radu is the co-founder of OCCRP, a global network of investigative journalists with staff on six continents, He leads its major investigative projects as well as develops new strategies and technology to expose organized crime and corruption across borders. He initiated and led the award-winning Russian, Azerbaijani, and Troika Laundromat investigations and was part of the Panama Papers team that won the 2017 Pulitzer Prize in Journalism. Paul is a winner of the European Press Prize.
Paul is an Ashoka Global Fellow and has held a number of other fellowships, including the Milena Jesenska Press Fellowship, the Rosalyn Carter Fellowship for Mental Health Journalism, the Knight International Journalism Fellowship with the International Center for Journalists as well as a 2009-2010 Stanford Knight Journalism Fellowship. He is a board member for the Global Investigative Journalism Network.
