Liby Johnson is Executive Director of Gram Vikas since October 2017. He is a Development Management specialist who has worked at the grassroots and the policy level, both with the government and non-government sectors.. He has a Post-Graduate Diploma in Rural Management from the Institute of Rural Management, Anand, Gujarat. In the 25+ years of work in the development sector, he has worked directly with rural communities on securing better livelihoods, coping with natural disasters, habitat development, alternate energy, and organizational development. While working with Kudumbashree, the Poverty Eradication Mission of Government, he helped set up a national level resource organization to adapt experiences and lessons from Kerala to other States under the National Rural Livelihoods Mission. He also worked with the United Nations Development Programme as an expert in entrepreneurship promotion.
