Kurt Dassel

Biography

Kurt Dassel is a Managing Director at Monitor Deloitte where he specializes in strategy, economic development, workforce and entrepreneurship, and inclusive business with a primary focus on emerging market economies. Dr. Dassel has led consulting engagements in a number of regions across Africa, the Middle East, and Asia, as well as in North America. These efforts have focused on economic strategy, market-based solutions for the bottom of the pyramid, job creation and livelihoods, private sector investment, industrial diversification, and collaboration across government, business, and NGOs. Many of the projects have focused on specific industries and sectors including agriculture, heavy industry, tourism, textiles, and information technology.
