As Chief Strategy Officer at Common Future, Jess led a brand refresh and today oversees the revenue, marcomms, knowledge, and policy teams— all in service to a network of leaders (re)building an economy that includes everyone.
Prior to Common Future, Jessica was the Director of Development at Kiva.org, a crowdfunding platform that has raised more than $1B in loans to entrepreneurs across 85 countries. During her tenure at Kiva, she led the launches of five Kiva Cities; more than a dozen corporate engagement programs; and most critically, Kiva's groundbreaking World Refugee Fund.
Previously, Jessica was the Director of Partnerships at Ashoka Changemakers, where she brokered collaborations between Fortune 500 companies and leading social entrepreneurs. Before Ashoka, she was the Communications & Strategy Specialist at Move This World and a co-founder of LiV, a social enterprise in women's health.
A lifelong dancer, Jess is a board member of the Stefanie Nelson Dancegroup, which runs the Dance Italia summer residency in Agropoli and Lucca.
Jess earned her BA at the University of Virginia and an MPH at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a RYS-200 yoga teacher, triathlete, and contemporary dancer and lives in Brooklyn, NY.
