Biography

Enrica Duncan is a program director for Mapa do Acolhimento, an initiative that works to tackle gender-based violence and femicide in Brazil since 2016. She was part of NOSSAS for eight years, and prior to that acted as a producer for GloboNews, Brazil’s largest news channel, covering the 2013 protests. At NOSSAS, Enrica filled a variety of roles, from campaigner to Chief of Staff, before joining the leadership team as acting COO, and finally Project Director.

Enrica holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with a concentration in Global Studies and History from The New School, and is a masters candidate at the UN mandate University for Peace, in Costa Rica with a focus on development and conflict resolution. Enrica is an advisor for Meta's Women's Safety group and has a young son, José.
