Charles Odhiambo

Biography

Charles way of work and life has been that of influencing organizations and people from all walks of life and especially those who have limited opportunities to make informed decisions and take responsibility for their own actions. This interest in young people particularly from vulnerable communities and their progress as his key motivation has led to having over 2,500 orphaned youngsters accessing jobs and thus achieving their self – reliance.

His professional interests focus on sustainable solutions, targeting vulnerable youths in the community. Charles holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Strategic Management from University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management from Maseno University. He is the executive director of Ujima Foundation for training and development with over 10 years experience in non profit management sector. Prior to this position, He was the head of income generating activities tasked with developing sustainable business models for the Foundation.

In addition, Charles s a member of Lake Victoria Tourism Association and he sits in the board of Prosperous Kenya. Kenya-Etten Leur Project and Afri- Can Trust. Charles is a fellow at African visionary fellowship.
