  • Director of Plan A, Marks and Spencer
    Mike is Director of Sustainable Business at the retailer Marks & Spencer. He was part of the small team that in 2007 developed and delivered the company's groundbreaking Plan A, a 100 point, 5 year plan to address a wide range of environmental and social issues. Reporting to the CEO, Mike is responsible for delivering M&S’ aspiration to be the world’s most sustainable retailer. His job is to work with the M&S leadership team to integrate sustainability into the heart of the business across its global retail channels and supply chains. In May 2011 Mike was named the Guardian’s inaugural Sustainable Business Innovator of the Year. He is Chair of the World Environment Center, a Visiting Fellow at the Smith Centre for Enterprise and the Environment at Oxford University, a Senior Associate at the Cambridge Programme for Sustainable Leadership and sits on BiTC’s Environment Leadership Team.
  • Chief Executive Officer and President, Ceres
    Mindy Lubber is the CEO and President of the sustainability nonprofit organization Ceres. She has been at the helm since 2003. Under her leadership, the organization and its powerful networks have grown both in size and influence. As a well-known global thought leader, Mindy has inspired coalitions of institutional investors, corporate boards, C-suite executives and capital market leaders to factor sustainability risks and opportunities into decision-making. In 2020, Lubber received the 'Champions of the Earth' award - the highest environmental honor from the United Nations. That same year, she made Barron’s Magazine’s inaugural list of the 100 most influential women in U.S. finance and nominated again in 2021. Prior to Ceres, Mindy served as a Regional Administrator at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency under former President Bill Clinton. She also founded Green Century Capital Management and served as the director of the MASSPIRG
  • Founder and Executive Vice Chairman, Climate Change Capital
    James Cameron is Founder and Executive Vice Chairman of Climate Change Capital, where he is responsible for strategic and sector development and represents the firm at the highest levels of business and government. As a member of the Prime Minister's Business Advisory Group, GE’s Ecomagination Advisory Board, and Pepsico UK's Advisory Board, James advises organisations on critical environmental and business issues. Prior to CCC he was Counsel to Baker & McKenzie and was the founder and the head of their Climate Change and Clean Energy Practice.

    Roberto Artavia is Chairman of VIVA Trust and of Fundación Latinoamérica Posible. He´s also President of the Board of INCAE Business School; Vice Chairman of the Social Progress Imperative and co-author of the 2013 report of the Social Progress Index. He was the founding Director of the Latin American Center for Competitiveness and Sustainable Development and of Viva Trust’s Center for Knowledge Exchange, a knowledge management organization for social and environmental entrepreneurs. President of Marviva Foundation in Panama and Victoria Foundation in Nicaragua. He also serves as Director of CINDE, the investment promotion agency of Costa Rica. Professor Artavia has a doctorate from Harvard´s Business School of Business, an MBA from INCAE Business School, and a degree in Naval Engineering from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, Kings Point.

    Gary Milsted is Head of Procurement, Commodities – Zone EUR at Nestlé.  In his former role, Gary was responsible for coordinating Coffee Purchases for the Nestlé Group and supporting the Nestlé Plan with the objective of delivering sustainable sourcing for Green Coffee within Nestlé.  He has a long history with the company, having worked for Nestlé Australia, Nestlé UK & Nestec Ltd.
