Back to schedule

Session Description

In the past year, we’ve invited the co-founder of Twitter, an Arab Spring leader, a special assistant to Obama, and other global pioneers to partake in dinners with students from underserved communities. Learn how we’re addressing the Power of Proximity one dinner conversation at a time!

For each dinner, six local high school scholars selected by our partner organizations will participate in a transformative two-way conversation with a global leader. is changing the status-quo by matching high achieving high school students from disadvantaged communities with world leaders in small settings. Our goal is to have an impact on students who are marginalized and don’t feel part of larger conversations, while also spurring a personal exchange that inspires both sides.
