Dr Patrick Moriarty is IRC's Chief Executive Officer. A passionate and self-confessed water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) systems nerd, he has been applying systems thinking to wicked WASH problems for most of the last 20 years. A Civil Engineer by first degree he has built a career focused on leading interdisciplinary work on WASH service delivery and local water governance, all with aim of improving human well-being. Predominantly in Africa and South Asia.
