Marianne Costigan

Biography

With over 15 years of global technology experience, Marianne is passionate about how technology can help individuals and organisations be more productive, collaborative and creative.

In 1999, she joined network management software company, Micromuse, headquartered in San Francisco (but founded in London). Leading a global team, Marianne forged key commercial and technical relationships that helped grow Micromuse from maverick start-up to recognised market leader. IBM acquired the company in 2006.

Marianne joined the cross-brand IBM sales organisation first as a marketing manager and then as a client representative for several UK insurance clients. After moving to Palo Alto, California, Marianne joined IBM North America's Wells Fargo client team. Her focus was on areas of innovation including mobile, social, security and cognitive computing (Watson).

Marianne Costigan began her career as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company, following a degree in business and French at University College Dublin. She recently returned from California to London.
