Alex has spent the past five years as Managing Director of the UK education charity, Future First. In that time, he has led the organisation's expansion 14 schools in London to working with more than 10% of secondary schools across England.
Prior to Future First, Alex was a secondary school teacher in London, initially training through Teach First, then progressing to roles as Head of Year and Head of Mathematics within his first four years.
Alex is now a Skoll Scholar, studying for an MBA at University of Oxford, Said Business School.
He is a governor of a large secondary academy in East London and served as a trustee of Teach First. He holds a first-class degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Warwick.
